I focused on the mitres for the priest and identifying the individuals: Joseph, Mary, Jesus, the priest, & etc. Some looked like high priest mitres, some like bishop mitres.

The presentation is on a different day from the circumcision. Presentation: 30 days after birth. Circumcision: 8 days after birth. Simeon and Anna were at the circumcision.

I’m not familiar with Candlemas, so I don’t know when it is, relative to Christmas.

A fenster is simply a window, a fenstermacher is a windowmaker, and defenestration is throwing someone out of a window. Now, you're all caught up.

I love how the artists (in at least 32/44, or 73%! of these presented works of art) capture the simple little detail of the 2 doves. In fact, 15 and 26 show 2x2 doves!
